OVERVIEW
Located at just 500 m behind Ritsa Beach, in the shimmering olive groves that border the main road which leads straight to the village (distance 750 m), is the lovely yellow villa of Kiki Studios. Commissioned and managed by one of the oldest and most-respected families in all Kardamili, the Troupakis—descendants of the celebrated patriarchs who ruled the old village—this charming new complex offers much peace, personality and privacy: a choice of just 4 studios, very spacious and tastefully furnished, with views that give onto the neighbouring countryside, the hills and valley further on, and the emerald-blue waters of Kardamili bay in the near distance. Guests will feel completely at ease in this beautiful environment which is close to nature, but also conveniently close to the shops and supermarkets, as well as just 10 minutes’ walk to the sea.
Kiki Studios is a pretty French-style villa with a selection of 4 extremely spacious and fully-furnished lodgings: 2 on the 1st floor and 2 on the 2nd floor. All 4 studios have similar layouts characterised by private entrances that each lead to a big, separate fully-equipped kitchen with dining table and chairs, a small hallway with plenty of cupboard space, a very roomy bathroom, and a large combined sitting room/bedroom with twin orthopaedic beds and door-windows that open onto a spacious balcony (again furnished with a big table and chairs). The interior décor, contemporary-traditional, is warm and welcoming, and guests will, of course, find everything they could possibly need: air-conditioning, ceiling fan, TV, telephone, hairdryer, etc. The rooms are serviced every 3rd day, with change of sheets and towels. Perfectly suited for couples and small families.
The upper-level lodgings benefit from access to a huge sun terrace which features stunning panoramas, but all studios at Kiki each have 2 balconies (east-facing and west-facing), as well as easy access to the villa’s enormous florid garden and its forecourt where there is plenty of private parking space. Wonderful light and birdsongs from the garden pervade these lodgings where guests can enjoy relaxing in their own special way at any time: breakfast with splendid views in the morning, al fresco lunches in the afternoon shade, evening barbecues in the courtyard, meditation, reading, sunbathing or star-gazing at night. The Troupakis family extends an exceptional hospitality and they also run a restaurant in the village, Kiki’s Taverna, an establishment that offers great traditional cuisine and that enjoys a wonderful seafront position. A highly-recommended lodging that has become a favourite with the discerning and exigent traveller.
