Owned by the very friendly Spireas family who have numerous years' experience in hospitality, To Kastro (The Castle) is a beautiful, traditional-style residence that houses 15 spacious and fully-furnished apartments. Professionally managed by Petros Spireas and his sister Kiki Spirea, this distinguished residence has several extremely attractive characteristics: it is situated at the northernmost end of the village where it is conveniently close (250 m) to Ritsa Beach and to the local shops and supermarkets, it benefits enormously from its prestigious location near the historical Old Kardamili, and its capacious, well-designed complex offers much peace and privacy, making it a real pleasure for guests who enjoy the sanctuary of quiet lodgings whilst being just a step away from village life. |

Whether you opt for a double, triple or quadruple arrangement, all of the recently-refurbished apartments at To Kastro are very accommodating: couples will find guestrooms airy, tastefully-furnished and welcoming, and families can relax in the privacy of spacious quarters that cater comfortably for up to 4 guests. Each apartment has its own air-conditioning, TV, kitchenette, en suite bathroom and furnished balcony, and the premises are serviced regularly. The north-wing lodgings feature sweeping views of the countryside; the south-wing lodgings feature picture-postcard views of the quaint little houses for which Kardamili is renowned. Petros is an attentive and unobtrusive host, and Kiki has a great eye for detail: the traditional interior décor is hip and has a natural touch, giving To Kastro distinct, hellenic boutique-hotel ambience. This accommodation comes highly recommended to guests who place importance on good hospitality, convenient locations and reasonable prices. |

All apartments at To Kastro boast private balconies with exceptional panoramas, and the residence features a splendid garden with both shaded and sun-lit sitting areas, and you can enjoy a delicious full breakfast or refreshing pre-dinner aperitif in the reception lounge or on the trellised terrace. Although not private, there is some parking space in the small square just below the complex. Petros is a wonderful cook and, in addition to these lovely apartments and studios, he also runs the renowned To Kastro Restaurant, where he serves delectable freshly-prepared, home-grown foods. This is actually the best cuisine of all Kardamili, and numerous conventions are often held at this fine establishment that features impeccable organization. To Kastro's overall charm is the unique combination of its peaceful atmosphere and convenient location, making it one of the favoured places in the Kardamili area. You are advised to book as early as possible. |
