Exquisite, romantic, and very, very special, Kripia is a small collection of 4 beautiful stone villas that are located on the northern side of Kardamili, at just 450 m behind Ritsa Beach. This charming group of lodgings enjoy an elevated position on a little bluff that overlooks the splendid south-western panoramas of Kardamili Bay, offering impeccable views of the marine-blue sea and majestic setting of the Mani coastline. Commissioned and owned by Mrs Antonia Lambrinidou-Perdikea, who places enormous care and detail in its management, Kripia promises an extremely comfortable and peaceful permanence in Kardamili: individual one-storey maisonettes with perfectly spacious guestrooms and full facilities, each enclosed in its own private garden, and all of them surrounded by the wonderful natural setting for which this particular corner of the village has during the last couple of years become much-favoured and renowned. |

There are 4 villas to choose from: 2 have studio layouts (suitable for couples and small families), and the other 2 have apartment layouts (suitable for groups of friends and large families). All of these feature large living rooms (with sofa bed and TV), fully-equipped kitchenettes (with cooker-oven, fridge, coffee-maker, toaster, iron, etc.), spacious bedrooms, and en suite bathrooms (with bath and hairdryer). Each room has its own independent air-conditioning system, interiors are decorated in very good taste, making for extremely comfortable and welcoming living spaces, and every villa, of course, also has its own garden and fully-furnished, elevated veranda with marvellous views, reassuring guests of a totally private, peaceful and luxurious accommodation. The maisonettes are fully serviced every 3 days, with change of bed sheets and bath towels. Free internet connection available. |

Kripia is unique in that it offers some very nice extras: enclosed and paved areas for children, and plenty of parking space in the private forecourt, but the most special feature here is the row of caves that lie just behind the villas. These are flood-lit at night – a truly spectacular sight that is not to be missed! The difference between one holiday establishment and another is, quite naturally, the atmosphere which a particular place exudes, and it is this that renders Kripia very, very special. "Flowers of the rock, near the green sea..." cited the celebrated Greek poet George Seferis, and Kripia is exactly this: a beautiful creation that emerges from the surrounding rocks like a lustrous wild flower that blooms on the rugged hillsides of the Mani. Here, where the beauty and freshness of nature is so close at hand, the simple holiday becomes an awesome and fulfilling experience: guests will feel at one with the surrounding countryside, their psyche will be filled with the extreme peace and wonder of the kaleidoscopic panoramas, sunsets and starlit skies that encircle Kripia like a vast mantle.
